Roland JP-8080 Synthesizer Module with Rack Ears, Wooden Desktop Cheeks & Memory Card
Selling my Roland JP-8080 in very good overall condition and exceptionally clean shape for a vintage synth from this era.
The unit is fully functional and has been carefully used in a home studio. The front panel is particularly clean, with only two very light hairline scratches. There are some cosmetic scratches on the rear of the unit and one scratch on the side, which I have tried to show clearly in the photos. Overall, it presents extremely well for its age.
Included are:
- Rack ears
- Wooden desktop/stand cheeks with JP-8080 model identification
- Memory card
- Power cord
The headphone volume knob was recently replaced because the original knob needed replacement. The headphone level control operates normally.
All knobs, sliders, buttons, display, audio outputs and MIDI functions operate as they should.
The JP-8080 is the rack/module version of Roland's classic JP-8000 architecture, with the iconic Super Saw oscillator, hands-on front-panel programming, external audio processing, vocoder and additional capabilities unique to the module version. It remains a distinctive late-'90s/early-2000s digital synthesizer with a sound very much of its own.
I am selling it only because I am simplifying and restructuring my hardware synthesizer setup.
Condition: Very Good, exceptionally clean for its age
