Schecter dUg Pinnick Baron-H Bass LH bass in Gloss Black

Schecter dUg Pinnick Baron-H Bass LH in Gloss Black

The Baron-H is a left-handed signature instrument engineered for aggressive, articulate tone that cuts through dense mixes with impressive clarity. Built around ergonomic body contours and a thin 'C' neck profile, this bass rewards extended playing sessions without fatigue while delivering the punchy midrange definition and tight low-end response that define dUg Pinnick's signature voice.

Tone and Electronics

A mahogany body with flat-top single F-hole paired with a bolt-on maple neck produces the character-filled midrange and controlled bass response this model is known for. The Seymour Duncan Pro Active APB-1 pickup with volume control and 9-volt clip-in battery compartment deliver dynamic response that shapes everything from thunderous lows to singing highs, with the aggression and articulation required for rock, metal, funk, jazz, and progressive contexts.

Playability and Hardware

The thin 'C' neck measures .787" at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th fret, balancing speed with stability for precise control across the full range. A 35" scale with 22 X-Jumbo frets, 16" fretboard radius, Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.496" width), and rosewood fretboard combine for smooth, durable playability, while the 2-way adjustable truss rod, Grover Vintage Bass 142 Series tuners, and WSC THD4 bridge ensure reliable setup and stable intonation.
