The Peavey ValveKing II offers boutique-style all-tube tone at a working musician's price. It has two independent footswitchable channels, each with its own EQ, and suits everything from jazz to rock and metal. The Vari-Class control blends between Class A and Class AB characteristics. A power switch lets you choose 50, 12 or 2 watts, so you get the full tube tone at any volume, from stage to bedroom. For recording, it has a USB output and Peavey's MSDI XLR output, which simulates a miked cabinet so you can go straight into a mixing desk or recording interface. TSI tube monitoring with LED indicators shows you at a glance whether your tubes are healthy.
