Peavey HP 2 Poplar Burl RM NaturalA New Era of High Performance, Built on Peavey's Legacy

Representing Peavey's rich heritage and commitment to excellence, the HP 2 (High Performance 2) series combines timeless design with modern innovation. The HP 2 Poplar Burl RM Natural stands out within the premium HP 2 lineup with its striking natural aesthetics and carefully engineered playability, making it an appealing choice for players seeking both performance and visual character.

A Neck Designed for Exceptional Stability

Built to meet the demands of serious players, the HP 2 features carefully selected materials and a reinforced neck construction designed for reliable performance.

Roasted Maple Neck: Roasted maple offers excellent dimensional stability and resistance to warping, helping maintain consistent playability and tuning stability across changing conditions.

Dual Graphite Reinforcement Bars: Dual graphite reinforcement bars strengthen the neck and help maintain its stability during demanding playing sessions.

Adjustable Steel Truss Rod: The adjustable steel truss rod allows precise neck relief adjustments, making it possible to maintain an optimal setup.

Together, these features provide a stable and reliable playing experience, even under demanding performance conditions.

Custom-Wound Pickups and Versatile Tonal Options

The HP 2 delivers a rich, full-bodied sound designed to capture the nuances of your playing.

Custom-Wound Peavey Humbuckers: Two custom-wound Peavey humbuckers provide a powerful, articulate response with a tonal character tailored to the instrument.

Switchcraft 3-Way Toggle Switch: The 3-way toggle switch offers straightforward pickup selection, allowing you to move easily between a range of tonal options.

Push-Pull Coil-Tap Function: The push-pull control expands the guitar's tonal versatility, allowing you to switch between the full, powerful character of humbuckers and a brighter, more defined single-coil-style sound.

Refined Design and Expressive Playability

Beyond its technical capabilities, the HP 2 stands out for its distinctive visual appeal and player-focused design.

Poplar Burl Top in Natural Finish: The Natural finish showcases the striking grain patterns of the poplar burl top, with each piece displaying its own unique figure. The result is an organic, eye-catching appearance that gives the guitar a character of its own.

Asymmetrical Body Design: The sculpted, asymmetrical body combines an elegant silhouette with comfortable contours and balanced ergonomics, making it well suited to extended playing sessions.

Licensed Peavey Floyd Rose Tremolo: The licensed Peavey Floyd Rose tremolo system supports expressive pitch manipulation, from dramatic dive bombs to subtle vibrato effects, while helping maintain tuning stability.

Blending classic design influences with modern engineering, the Peavey HP 2 Poplar Burl RM Natural is a compelling option for players who demand a distinctive appearance, versatile tones, and high-performance playability.
