This 2023 Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty 6 in Wisteria Blossom is an instrument designed for ergonomics and a varied tonal palette. It is an ideal choice for technical players who require effortless upper-fret access and both magnetic and piezo tonal options.

The Majesty represents the evolution of the John Petrucci signature line, utilizing a neck-through construction that eliminates the heel for unobstructed access to the 24th fret. The mahogany neck and okoume body wings provide a resonant foundation, while the maple top shield adds clarity to the attack. This model features a slim neck profile and a 17 inch fretboard radius, facilitating fast runs and a technical approach to playing.

Sonically, the guitar is equipped with DiMarzio Rainmaker and Dreamcatcher humbuckers, specifically voiced to maintain note definition under high gain. The integrated Fishman piezo system allows for realistic acoustic tones, which can be blended with the magnetic pickups or sent to a separate output. The active electronics include a 20dB gain boost via a push-push volume pot, offering a little bit more push without the necessity for an external pedal.

This instrument is in very good condition. The finish shows virtually no signs of playware besides the usual pick scratches in the picking area, although even these are shallow and visible under the right lighting conditions. The stainless steel frets are in excellent shape with no significant wear. All electronic components, including the piezo system, are fully functional and operate without noise.
