Modeled after the late, legendary, Whitesnake guitarist's iconic '59 Les Paul "The Beast", the Bernie Marsden SE seems to be one of the must get "or at least try" SE's PRS have ever produced. Search through the various forum and you'l loads of threads such "just bought a Bernie "Freakin Awesome" or "should I pull the trigger on a Bernie". The model developed a cult status because its acoustic resonance, build quality, and vintage wiring rival instruments costing significantly more.

This guitar is terrific Les Paul variation made in Korea in 2015. It features a maple top on a chunky mahogany body, and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard featuring the PRS flying bird inlays. The scale length is 24.5" which is 1/4" shorter than similar guitars, and allows you to use heavier than usual strings for big tone and still have slinky action. The two SE 245 humbuckers deliver warm, plummy neck tones and a punchy bridge bite. The top features a beautiful flamed maple grain pattern. The 'Wide Fat' neck fills the hand nicely, and this limited-run version introduced a smooth satin finish on the back of the neck for a faster, less-sticky feel. There are no modifications.

Condition Notes:

Obviously this is not a new guitar or NOS, but it's near flawless for a 2015 model. The bridge has some minor white scaling spots that can probably be polished off. There's no visible dings, scratches, dents, or discoloration anywhere that I could spot. If there are any swirl marks, they aren't apparent in normal viewing conditions.
