Up for sale is my used Gemeinhardt 3SB intermediate open-hole flute. This is a fantastic step-up instrument for an advancing student, featuring premium solid sterling silver construction throughout the headjoint, body, and footjoint—giving it a remarkably warm, rich tone compared to standard student plated flutes.

Specs & Features:

Solid Sterling Silver (Headjoint, Body, and Footjoint)

Open-Hole (French) Keys

B-Foot Joint with Gizmo Key

Inline G key configuration

Condition Details:
This flute has sat securely in its case, unused for several years. The last time it was played, it functioned perfectly. However, because it has been sitting, it is being sold strictly "As-Is." Visually, the pads appear to be intact, and the key action is smooth, but it will likely require a standard Clean, Oil, and Adjust (COA) service or minor pad tune-up from a technician to ensure 100% airtight playability. The silver shows minor cosmetic tarnish typical of sitting, which will easily polish out. No major dents or deep scratches.

What’s Included:

Gemeinhardt 3SB Solid Silver Flute

Original Gemeinhardt hard case (plush interior is clean and intact)

Soft zippered carrying case with handle/shoulder strap (all zippers work perfectly)

Cleaning rod
