Here is my gorgeous Fender Mexico Classic Series 70s Jazz Bass Guitar in 3 Tone Sunburst, made in 2016, quite rare to find these.

From hard rock to slap-and-pop funk, the ’70s Jazz Bass captures the essence of the 1970s with striking looks and a bright, full sound still prized today by bassists everywhere. That decade saw the bridge pickup moved closer to the bridge, creating a brighter, more cutting tone, and the elegant addition of neck binding and block fingerboard inlays. That’s all offered in this authentically styled instrument loaded with vintage vibe and modern performance.

A major part of the vintage-style sound, look and appeal of this bass is its vintage-style pickups, which deliver pure bass tone, power and performance evoking the great Fender basses of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s.

Bound Neck with Block Inlays
The elegant high-end look of a bound fingerboard with block inlays first appeared on Fender basses in 1966 and is considered a classic Fender design element, especially on 1970s-era Jazz basses. That stylish look is re-created here in authentically vintage detail.

Excellent used condition, with only very minor marks etc. The neck is gorgeous to the touch with a lovely red hue and the tone is superb! Neck is also straight, fretboard conditioned with MusicNomad F-One fretboard oil and truss rod in perfect working order. All setup with new strings and ready to go, this is an absolute stunning bass!
