I have carried out some Mods on this Bass orientated OverDrive pedal just to help it act more like an overdrive than distortion although on the LED stock side some characteristics reman the same.

The obvious one first is the Diode Switch to change from LED (stock) to 1n34a Germanium. The latter diode produces a more vintage smooth, traditional, Warm tube-amp overdrive sound.

I have upgraded and changed capacitors with other components to give a greater EQ range and to add fullness, Better Lows and eliminate shrill highs and give a cleaner tone when dialled in with the balance control.

Key Features and Controls

Balance Knob: Lets you blend your clean (dry) bass signal directly with the overdriven (wet) signal, which helps preserve low-end fundamental notes.

Two-Band EQ (Stacked High/Low): Features a concentric stacked knob where the outer ring controls low frequencies and the inner knob controls high frequencies. Cranking the highs adds industrial "bite," while the low EQ compensates for bottom-end loss.

Level & Gain: Level controls overall output volume when engaged, while Gain sweeps from a gritty crunch to a heavy, saturated bite.  It gets a punchy, gritty tone well. It can go as far as mild fuzz.
