Fender Vibrolux Reverb 2-Channel 35-Watt 2x10" Guitar Combo 1965
This is a Fender Vibrolux Reverb from August, 1965. I've owned the amp continuously since 1996. I've used the amp on some gigs, but it's spent most of its time in my smoke-free studio. The speakers are not original. The amp currently has Eminence Copperhead speakers. The amp has a reissue footswitch and an extra-long modern-style 3-prong AC cable.
The amp works perfectly and sounds great. I've never modified the amp. I think Leo Fender got it right the first time, so it sounds just like a great Vibrolux should. Since I've owned the amp, only one amp technician (Al Forbes, Alpha Sound) has ever worked on it and he's a purist as well. Other than tubes and the basics, the circuit is as Leo intended it to be.
This is a very clean example of this desirable amp. It could almost pass for a reissue.
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for looking.
