Available now is this fantastic 2010 Fender Road Worn Player Telecaster HS, finished in black nitrocellulose! This is a particularly great-looking example, featuring Fender's factory Road Worn treatment over a thin nitrocellulose finish, giving the guitar a wonderfully broken-in appearance and feel. The factory relicing is really well done and gives this Telecaster plenty of character without needing to wait decades for it to happen naturally.

The guitar features an alder body paired with a maple neck and fingerboard, with Fender's comfortable Modern "C" profile, 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. The 25.5" scale length gives it that familiar Fender feel, whilst the six-saddle string-through Telecaster bridge offers excellent intonation and stability. The lightly worn finish and neck also give the guitar a particularly comfortable played-in feel.

Electronics wise, this example has been fitted with a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the neck position and a Fender Texas Special Telecaster single-coil in the bridge. This is a fantastic combination, giving you the warmth and power of a full-sized humbucker at the neck whilst retaining plenty of classic Telecaster twang, bite and clarity from the bridge pickup. It's a really versatile setup and gives this Telecaster a much wider tonal palette than a traditional two-single-coil example.

This is a great-looking and sounding example and is quite a rare guitar to find, particularly in this sort of condition. It weighs approximately 8lbs and plays beautifully with low action and no buzz. It has been set up with Ernie Ball 10 gauge strings and is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for the character and feel of a factory-relic Fender without stepping up to Custom Shop prices. A very cool Telecaster and, in our opinion, about as close as you can get to the Custom Shop experience at a fraction of the price.
