This is an Epiphone Nick Valensi Riviera, bought new in 2007. The instrument has been played, but it's overall condition is near perfect. The only issue I found is a tiny ding in the lacquer on the back, I tried to capture it in the photos. Like the historical Riviera guitars it has a nut width of 41.3 mm (1-5/8"), very comfortable to play.
It comes with an extra fitting case: Epiphone 940-E519 (price new: 127 €)
The guitar is equipped with the original lovely Gibson P94 pickups. I had the electronics upgraded in the guitar workshop in Freiburg by Moritz Erk ().
Upgrades:
- Pots: CTS-500K "TVT" Custom Calibrated Set ()
- Capacitators: Cornell Dubilier Capacitor (CDE) Cap 022 µF ()
- Golden Gibson Style Speed Knobs
We also upgraded the bridge with a perfectly fitting bridge made by Faber ().
