Apogee Symphony I/O 8x8 with AES/EBU and Symphony 64 PCIe 2010 - Silver
Good condition, used in a pro single studio for 10 years, then boxed and stored in my garage for the last 6 years.
I took the stupid silver hi-fi knob caps off the unit years ago and threw them out. Works perfectly without them.
I actually like using the knobs better once I did that.
This frame is an MK1, one of the very first run, I bought it at Mercenary Audio when they first introduced it.
It has the 8x8 analog I/o card with AES/EBU. It does not have optical ADAT. It has two channel SPDIF, word clock, symphony 64 connections and also USB. It can work as a USB interface, stand alone I/O with AES, or via the included, low latency Symphony 64 pcie card.
it only works with Mac OS. Check Apogee‘s website for latest USB and 64pcie card drivers.
also including the Symphony 64 pcie card and pc32 interface cable in this price. Pc32 cable is like 12FT. It also has the feet, all the module standoff screws, and IEC cable In the box.
Please buy this from me. It’s classic high end now. Way better than those vintage AD/DA16x’s. The Rosetta series sucked compared to this. Needs a happy home. These converters sound really good.
