1995 Orville LPS-80F Les Paul Standard - Cherry Sunburst Flame Top - Made in Japan / Pro Setup

Up for sale is a beautiful 1995 Orville LPS-80F Les Paul Standard, made in Japan and finished in a gorgeous Cherry Sunburst with a stunning flame maple appearance.

Orville was Gibson's officially licensed Japanese brand, producing Gibson-style guitars for the Japanese domestic market. These instruments have earned a strong reputation among players and collectors for their excellent craftsmanship, quality materials, and attention to detail. The Japanese-made Orville Les Pauls are especially appreciated for delivering the classic Les Paul feel, sound, and aesthetics at a fraction of the price of their American counterparts.

The LPS-80F is a particularly attractive example, featuring traditional Les Paul Standard appointments, dual humbuckers, vintage-style hardware, and a beautiful flame-patterned top. The Cherry Sunburst finish has a rich, almost three-dimensional appearance that looks especially impressive in person. It's a guitar that looks and feels considerably more expensive than it is.

Overall, the guitar is in good condition for its age, showing typical signs of use from the past three decades.

There are several small chips and finish imperfections along the body edges and around the sides, along with some light scratches and general cosmetic wear. However, the front of the guitar remains relatively clean and presents beautifully, with the vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish and flame figuring being the real highlights.

The guitar retains its original pickups, delivering the warm, full-bodied tones and classic bite you'd expect from a great Japanese Les Paul.

All electronics are fully functional, with no issues. The guitar has been thoroughly serviced, professionally set up, and is ready to play right out of the box.

A fantastic example of a Japanese-made Orville Les Paul with great looks, classic tone, and the build quality that has made these guitars so desirable.

The following work has been done: full fretboard conditioning with lemon oil, fret polish, pickup height adjustment for balance and clarity, and a fresh set of D’Addario 10-46s installed. String height at the 12th fret on the low E is right at 2.2 mm - set for comfortable playability.
