The Suhr Andy Wood Signature Modern T in GT Blue is a distinctive and highly refined instrument designed in collaboration with guitarist Andy Wood, bringing together the familiar character of a T-style guitar with modern performance, precision, and versatility. Built with a 2-piece Swamp Ash body featuring a hand contour and finished in a striking GT Blue gloss, this Modern T balances classic visual language with an unmistakably contemporary edge. The Parchment Modern T pickguard, Chrome control plate, recessed Suhr 2-Post bridge with solid saddles and steel block, and matching Chrome hardware complete an elegant and purposeful aesthetic.

The Roasted Maple neck is finished in satin and shaped to Suhr's Modern Elliptical profile, measuring .780" to .830" for a fast, comfortable feel across the entire neck. Its Roasted Maple fingerboard features a 16" radius with Standard Roll, 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, Black side dots, and Black face dots. The original satin-finished headstock carries a Black decal logo and Andy Wood Signature engraving, while the 1.650" Black Tusq nut and Suhr Locking Chrome tuning gears provide a precise and dependable foundation. Every detail of the neck reflects a design focused on fluid movement, accuracy, and effortless playability.

At the heart of this Modern T is a pair of Suhr Woodbucker pickups in Raw Nickel, offering a powerful and articulate tonal palette designed to respond beautifully to both clean dynamics and driven textures. A 5-way blade selector with Black Barrel T-style tip provides versatile pickup combinations, while the Volume and Tone controls maintain an intuitive playing experience. The push-pull control adds another layer of flexibility by placing the bridge pickup in parallel, expanding the available tonal range without complicating the instrument's straightforward layout. The recessed bridge design and carefully chosen hardware further enhance its responsive feel and modern performance.

Weighing 7 lbs 10 oz and set up in E Standard tuning with .010 to .046 strings, this Andy Wood Signature Modern T is a compelling combination of speed, clarity, versatility, and unmistakable Suhr craftsmanship. From its resonant Swamp Ash body and Roasted Maple neck to its 16" fingerboard radius, Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, and signature Woodbucker pickups, every specification serves a musical purpose. Finished in vivid GT Blue and accompanied by a Deluxe Softshell Case, this instrument captures the spirit of a modern T-style guitar while offering the precision, expressive range, and performance-focused design expected from an Andy Wood signature model.
