Built around three uncompromising principles—Precision, Performance, and Playability—the RGR5121RB brings together a lightning-fast Super Wizard HP neck, premium stainless steel frets, versatile active electronics, and precision Gotoh hardware.

Whether you're unleashing complex progressive metal riffs, navigating technical solos, or laying down tight, aggressive rhythms, this Prestige RG is ready to handle the most demanding playing styles.

Built in Japan. Designed for speed. Ready for anything.

Prestige Craftsmanship – Precision in Every Detail

The Ibanez Prestige series represents an extraordinary combination of advanced guitar manufacturing technology and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

Every detail of the RGR5121RB is focused on creating an instrument that feels exceptionally refined, responsive, and dependable.

Its basswood body provides a balanced tonal foundation with an even frequency response, making it an excellent match for the guitar's aggressive modern electronics.

The iconic RG body design offers comfortable contours and excellent upper-fret accessibility, allowing players to move effortlessly between heavy rhythm work and demanding lead passages.

From the precision of its construction to the beautifully finished fretwork, this is an instrument built for serious musicians who expect consistency and exceptional performance.

Super Wizard HP – Built for Lightning-Fast Playability

At the heart of the RGR5121RB is the legendary Ibanez Super Wizard HP five-piece Maple/Wenge neck, engineered for extraordinary speed, comfort, and stability.

Known for its exceptionally thin, fast-playing profile, the Super Wizard HP allows your fretting hand to move effortlessly through rapid-fire alternate picking, intricate legato passages, complex tapping patterns, and sweeping arpeggios.

The multi-piece Maple/Wenge construction provides rigidity and a solid, responsive feel while maintaining the comfortable characteristics that have made Ibanez Wizard necks favorites among technical players worldwide.

A premium rosewood fingerboard delivers a smooth playing surface with a balanced tonal response and focused midrange character.

Equipped with jumbo stainless steel frets, the RGR5121RB provides outstanding durability, exceptional resistance to wear, and a slick playing feel that makes string bends and technical passages incredibly satisfying.

And because this is a Prestige instrument, Ibanez takes things even further.

The exclusive Prestige Fret Edge Treatment provides meticulously finished fret ends, creating a remarkably smooth playing experience as your hand moves up and down the neck.

Every note feels precise. Every movement feels natural.

When speed meets comfort, extraordinary things happen.

Fishman Fluence Modern – Crushing Tone. Incredible Clarity.

The RGR5121RB comes armed with a powerful set of Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic humbuckers, delivering the aggressive output, tight response, and exceptional clarity that modern metal players demand.

Designed to maintain articulation even under extreme distortion, these innovative active pickups produce massive, punchy rhythms with impressive note separation.

From thunderous palm-muted riffs and complex extended chord voicings to aggressive technical passages, every note remains focused and defined.

The Fluence Modern Ceramic pickups offer the cutting attack and powerful response needed for modern high-gain playing while minimizing unwanted noise.

But this guitar is far more versatile than a traditional high-output metal machine.

A dedicated Fishman Fluence voicing switch allows you to move between distinct pickup voices, expanding your tonal possibilities beyond a single high-gain sound.

Engage the aggressive modern active voice for crushing distortion and commanding attack, or switch to the alternative voice for a cleaner, more fluid response.

Whether your playing calls for brutal precision, articulate clean passages, or expressive lead tones, the RGR5121RB delivers impressive flexibility.

Aggressive when you need it. Articulate when it matters.

Gibraltar Standard III – Precision Without Compromise

The RGR5121RB features the redesigned Ibanez Gibraltar Standard III fixed bridge, engineered to provide excellent tuning stability, playing comfort, and efficient string vibration transfer.

Its updated baseplate and saddle design create a smooth, comfortable surface for your picking hand while maintaining a solid connection between the strings and body.

The fixed-bridge construction offers a direct, responsive playing feel with straightforward tuning and maintenance, making it an excellent choice for players who prioritize precise rhythm work and dependable performance.

Premium Gotoh MG-T locking tuners provide smooth, accurate tuning adjustments while making string changes faster and more convenient.

Combined with the guitar's stable construction and precision hardware, these features create a dependable instrument built for demanding stage and studio environments.

Professional Features for Serious Performers

Every detail of the Ibanez RGR5121RB Prestige has been selected to improve the playing experience.

Luminlay side position markers provide enhanced visibility in low-light conditions, making it easier to navigate the fingerboard during dark stage performances.

The finely finished stainless steel frets, smooth neck profile, comfortable RG contours, and thoughtfully designed hardware work together to create an instrument that feels natural and responsive from the first note.

And when it's time to take the guitar on the road, the included premium hardshell case provides protection for transportation and storage.

From demanding live performances to detailed studio sessions, the RGR5121RB is a professional-grade instrument built to inspire confidence.
