The 26.5-inch scale length provides a firm, defined feel across all seven strings, while the comfortable Wide Thin maple neck and 20-inch-radius ebony fretboard make it well suited for fast riffing, technical passages, and intricate chord voicings.
The original Mark Holcomb signature pickups have been replaced with a Fishman Fluence Keith Merrow Signature 7-string pickup set with a 5 way selector and single volume knob, offering a different tonal character with focused low end, crisp articulation, and clarity under high gain. This upgraded configuration makes the guitar a compelling choice for players seeking precision and versatility in an extended-range instrument.
