Built for players who appreciate the finer details, the Nick Johnston Traditional HH is more than just another S-style electric guitar. It's an inspiring instrument designed to bring every nuance of your playing to life.

Custom Shop Craftsmanship with Vintage Soul

At the heart of this exceptional guitar is a carefully crafted alder body, prized for its balanced resonance, articulate response, and natural warmth. Its traditional S-style silhouette provides the familiar comfort and effortless ergonomics that players have loved for generations.

The striking Atomic Mercury Aged Nitro finish gives this guitar a bold, distinctive personality. Its vintage-inspired aged appearance delivers the unmistakable character of a well-loved instrument while retaining the refined attention to detail associated with Schecter's Custom Shop.

Elegant, understated, and undeniably cool, this guitar is designed to stand apart from the crowd without sacrificing an ounce of performance.

Exotic Wenge Neck. Effortless Playability.

One of the most impressive features of the Nick Johnston Traditional HH is its premium wenge neck, offering a distinctive feel, exceptional rigidity, and an exotic aesthetic that sets it apart from more conventional neck designs.

Shaped to Nick Johnston's signature C-profile, the neck provides a comfortable, natural feel that encourages expressive playing. Whether you're navigating intricate melodic passages, executing smooth legato runs, or digging into blues-inspired bends, this instrument feels ready to respond.

The luxurious ebony fingerboard features a 14" radius and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, providing a fast, smooth playing surface with exceptional durability. The flatter fingerboard radius makes wide bends and technical lead work feel effortless, while the stainless steel frets deliver a slick, precise response that serious players appreciate.

With its familiar 25.5" scale length, the guitar offers excellent string definition, responsive attack, and the perfect balance of comfort and clarity.

Schecter USA Atom-Buckers – Exceptional Tone and Versatility

The Nick Johnston Traditional HH comes equipped with a premium pair of Schecter USA NJ Atom-Bucker humbuckers, delivering an inspiring combination of clarity, warmth, punch, and dynamic response.

In the bridge position, the Atom-Bucker produces articulate, powerful tones with excellent note separation, making it ideal for expressive rock leads, crunchy rhythm work, and aggressive modern playing.

The neck-position Atom-Bucker delivers rich, smooth tones with beautiful warmth and sustain, perfect for fluid solos, soulful blues, and lush melodic textures.

But this guitar has even more tonal possibilities waiting beneath the surface.

With a five-way blade pickup selector and independent coil-splitting controls, the Traditional HH moves effortlessly between full-bodied humbucker power and brighter, more articulate single-coil-style sounds.

A push/pull volume control and push/push tone control provide additional flexibility, allowing you to explore an impressive range of tones without sacrificing the simplicity of a traditional control layout.

From shimmering cleans and expressive blues to punchy rock rhythms and soaring lead tones, this guitar is designed to handle it all.

Premium Hardware for Serious Players

Every component on the Nick Johnston Traditional HH has been selected to complement its professional performance capabilities.

The Schecter 2-point tremolo system delivers smooth, expressive vibrato, allowing players to add subtle movement or more dramatic pitch effects with confidence.

Schecter locking tuners provide excellent tuning stability while making string changes quick and convenient. A premium Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut helps reduce friction and promotes smooth string movement, further enhancing tuning consistency.

Together, these carefully selected components create an instrument that feels responsive, dependable, and ready for demanding stage or studio use.
