Weight: 8 lbs 3.0 oz

The Fender Paranormal Troy Van Leeuwen Telecaster XII takes the familiar Telecaster design and adds the shimmer and harmonic depth of a 12-string electric. Finished in Copper with a tortoiseshell pickguard, it's built for players who want their chords and riffs to stand out with extra width and texture.

Inspired by Troy Van Leeuwen's distinctive work across alternative rock and experimental projects, this guitar is a natural fit for indie, shoegaze, post-rock, and studio layering. The doubled strings give chord progressions a rich, chorus-like character, while the Telecaster-style single-coil pickups retain a clear, articulate edge.

How it works for players

This guitar is especially useful when you want a part to sound wider and more complex without stacking multiple tracks or relying entirely on effects. Try clean settings for sparkling arpeggios, or add delay and overdrive for dense, atmospheric alternative-rock textures. It also makes a distinctive companion to a conventional six-string electric.
