Here we have a killer McCarty 594 with a monster flame top in my personal favorite finish - Charcoal Cherry Burst. Really fast neck on this one, the offset carve of the Vintage profile is extremely comfortable up and down the neck. Action is low without buzzing and the bound fretboard is a nice touch. The classic set of 58/15 humbuckers is a tried and true pair, covering everything from chunky rhythm tones to glorious leads. Weight is a comfortable 7 pounds 13 ounces on my scale.

Somehow, this one made it out of the factory without a 10-top designation, but come on. The flame rivals even the nicest of 10-tops, it looks stunning in person. No signs of wear to note, it’s been taken care of very nicely and shows just a handful of light surface scratched from handling here and there, along with some light haze on the pickup covers. Original case, hangtag and factory paperwork are all included.
