------------------------------
Asturias, a long-established guitar brand from Kurume City, Kyushu. This instrument is the "Gran Solo," a 16-inch body model originally designed for fingerpickers, from the body shape to the internal structure, by skilled craftsmen who poured their sensibilities into its design. It's engineered to produce a richer volume without sacrificing responsiveness for fingerpicking. It features a cedar top, rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Gotoh 510 tuners. While possessing the excellent balance and playability required for fingerstyle playing, it also boasts a thick, clear, silky fundamental tone, long sustain, and beautiful harmonic structure that enriches melodies and their lingering resonance. Its meticulous craftsmanship and elegant appearance are also appealing. The ultra-thin lacquer finish on the top has a subtle sheen, giving the simple design a luxurious feel. For those seeking a fingerstyle guitar with a warmer sound compared to a spruce top, this is a highly recommended instrument.
