For sale is a Fender American Vintage ‘65 Jaguar from 2012-13 in a beautiful candy apple red nitrocellulose finish. This guitar plays and sounds great, and is a very faithful reissue of the original model. This example features a particularly nice neck, with an especially dark rosewood fretboard with very comfortably rounded edges and some birds-eye and flame figuring in the maple. The pickguard is a nice red tortoise replacement which pairs well with the finish. The guitar has an upgraded Guitar Fetish brand Mustang-style bridge which reduces rattling. There are no other mods or repairs to the guitar. The original Fender flippable foam mute is still installed. The guitar weighs 8lb 3oz.

The neck is largely blemish-free, save for a couple of very light, hardly noticeable scratches near the decal. There is no fret wear to speak of. The body shows more wear, with some light natural finish checking and several small dings and scratches as well as several paint chips revealing the silver base coat. I have attempted to show this in the pictures.

Included in this sale is the original bridge and extra bushings. Unfortunately I do not have the original pickguard, bridge cover, case, or original case candy. The guitar will be sold set up and ready to play with a fresh set of 10-46 strings.
