Up for sale is a gorgeous, highly versatile 1999 Fender Deluxe Super Strat in a classic transparent Blonde finish over an ash body. Made in Mexico during a fantastic era for the Ensenada factory, the "Super Strat" was an upscale model featuring premium aesthetics and a highly flexible electronics layout. This guitar has been upgraded into an absolute gigging machine and is freshly set up with a brand new set of 9-gauge strings with low, fast action.Key Upgrades & Features:

  • Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups: The original "Super Fat" single coils have been upgraded to a full set of Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups. You get all the classic, bell-like Stratocaster chime, bite, and touch-sensitivity, but with absolutely zero 60-cycle hum. Perfect for high-gain stages or studio tracking.
  • 7-Way Switching System: Retains the original Deluxe Super Strat wiring. In addition to the standard 5-way blade switch, the push-button mini-switch activates the bridge pickup in positions 4 and 5. This unlocks two rare configurations: Neck + Bridge (Telecaster style) and all three pickups simultaneously.
  • Included Accessories:Original gold tremolo arm / whammy bar.
  • Premium Aesthetics: Beautiful ash wood grain visible through the blonde finish, paired with a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and gold-plated hardware.

Condition & Wear Breakdown:This is a 27-year-old player's instrument that has been loved and played. Please review the photos carefully:

  • Neck Pocket Finish Crack: There are a couple of common, typical Fender finish crack in the neck pocket gloss. There is one crack that appears to be deeper, and only the very corner of the neck packet on the outside of the screw hole closes to the headstock. These appear to be purely cosmetic do not affect the structural integrity of the wood, neck joint, or tuning stability whatsoever.
  • Body/Hardware: There are various honest dings, surface scratches, and small chips around the body from normal use over nearly three decades. The gold hardware has a nice, natural vintage patina.
  • Neck/Frets: The satin-finished maple neck is straight, the truss rod functions perfectly, and the 21 medium-jumbo frets still have plenty of life left in them with minimal wear.
