The Micro Amp is a classic boost pedal, extremely simple yet highly effective. It features a single Gain control that allows you to increase the signal level by up to +26 dB, without intentionally adding any significant coloration to the sound. It can be used to increase volume for solos, push the input of a tube amp or overdrive for more saturation, balance two guitars with different output levels, or compensate for signal loss in a long effects chain. Its frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a high 1 MΩ input impedance, while power consumption is only 2.5 mA. It is a rugged and minimalist pedal that has become a benchmark for clean boosts, featuring hardwire bypass rather than true bypass.
