Here's a beautiful 1950s or early 60s Kay Terz guitar. The nut width on this particular specimen is extremely narrow for six strings at only 38mm, so in replacing the broken bridge I decided to set this up as a five-string. Presently tuned GDAEB, it's a beautiful and light tone, thanks to the solid and very well aged spruce and mahogany. The neck angle is perfect, the bracing is tight, the action is great, and there's room on the saddle. It plays easily all up the neck.

Excellent cosmetically save for a few small dings and a visible finish line from the old bridge. The tuners are original, a touch stiff, but functional and holding tune well. Gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, brand new luthier-made bridge, bone saddle, ebony pins.

An incredibly fun and well playing little instrument, much more affordable and unique than most of the five-string acoustics you'll find out there. Contact me if you'd like a case added
