Very resonant and intoxicating sustain. IMHO note to note separation & balance great. perfect - master grade Sitka Spruce top - perfectly quarter sawn. I replaced the standard Grover open back with Gold Waverly (no brainer).

• Includes LR Baggs Anthem SL.
• Waverly Gold tuners
• Also includes the Tonewoodamp2

- Baggs Dual-Source Technology: It combines an under-saddle Element piezo pickup (handling low frequencies below 250 Hz for punch and headroom) with a Tru-Mic attached to the bridge plate (handling frequencies above 250 Hz for natural acoustic air and string dynamics)

- this is huge - TONEWOODAMP2

THIS WILL TAKE A GUITAR TO THE NEXT LEVEL. youtube.com/watch?v=xbCzjpzg9jg

D-45 Reimagined : featuring hand inlaid pearl on the top, back, sides, and neck. Premium tonewoods and all of the advancements of the reimagined Standard Series such as forward shifted scalloped braces, antique white binding and a high performance neck. The guitar of choice for legends like Gene Autry and Neil Young, it’s the perfect guitar for any discerning collector or musician. Nothing says you’ve arrived like a D-45.

Feature differences between pre-Reimagined and post-Reimagined

Internal Bracing - Forward-Shifted Scalloped X-Bracing

Nut Width1 11/16 inches (43 mm) vs 1 3/4 inches (44.5 mm)

Neck Taper Standard Taper vs High-Performance Taper (Modified Low Oval)

Top Finish Clear Natural (No Toner) vs Vintage (Buttery/Yellowish Vintage Hue)

Binding Color Stark White Boltaron vs Antique White / Creamier Hue

Sound & Playability Evolution

• The Bracing Shift: The most impactful sonic change is the change to forward-shifted bracing on the 2019 model. Moving the "X" closer to the soundhole allows the top to vibrate more freely behind the bridge, resulting in a richer bass response, more immediate volume, and a slightly "drier," more vintage-like voicing.
• The Neck Profile: The 2019 Reimagined model adopts a wider 1 3/4" nut width combined with a Modified Low Oval profile and High-Performance Taper. This design provides more string spacing for fingerstyle articulation while maintaining a slim, comfortable profile up the neck
