1994 Takamine C-132S classical guitar, made in Japan.
Serial number 94021493 dates this one to February 1994.
This is one of Takamine’s Japanese-built professional classical models, featuring a solid cedar top, solid rosewood back, rosewood sides, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
The C-132S uses traditional classical construction with a 650mm scale length, approximately 51mm nut width, 12-fret neck joint, and gloss natural finish. No electronics.
The cedar and rosewood combination gives it a warm, full classical voice with good projection and clarity.
This example is in very nice condition for a 32-year-old instrument. The gloss finish and rosewood back and sides present particularly well. There are normal signs of use and several small marks/dings on the cedar top, which I have photographed closely. Please review the photos carefully for condition.
The dark rosewood back is especially attractive, with strong straight grain, decorative center strip, and body purfling.
