The Behringer MS-101 is a faithful recreation of the legendary Roland SH-101 — the monophonic synth that defined countless bass lines, leads, and mind-bending effects across new wave, techno, acid, and beyond. Behringer nailed the vibe and the sound while making it attainable for every player and producer. From super-fat basses and scorching leads to wild sci-fi sweeps, this thing delivers that coveted vintage analog character with hands-on, real-time control.

At its heart is an authentic 3340 analog oscillator with four simultaneously mixable waveforms (saw, triangle, square/PWM, and an octave-divided square sub) for seriously thick, complex timbres. The resonant VCF can be shaped and modulated via ADSR, LFO, keyboard tracking, and the bender, and it even includes the famous "Nova Mod" FM sources that players used to mod into their original SH-101s. With 57 knobs, faders, and switches, a built-in 32-step sequencer, and an arpeggiator, everything is right at your fingertips — no menu diving. A true performance and studio workhorse.
