All original, excellent condition – bought this from the site Gibson had where you send in your guitar, they inspect / approve and sell.
It has a flame top and back, but not as translucent as one would hope. I detect a slight bit of milkiness where the left arm rubs the upper bout, but otherwise no real scratches or dings. The picture of the fretboard shows a tiny discernable bit of fret wear on the G string - 2 frets, 1st and 2nd . You have to be in the right light to see it, not really able to capture in the picture.
I do my own setups, and always over wrap the tail piece for “more slinky” This guitar plays very nicely. I have 9’s on it for my “old” hands. Just need to thin the heard – never gigged, well once I think. A comfortable 8 lbs, 9 ounces.
