1966 Fender Vibro Champ - Restored
This amp has been restored to function safely with modern wall voltage. Sounds great.
- Voltage dropping resistor changed to Tweed values putting plate voltage around 370-380. - Stock value for cathode bypass cap/resistor increased to 5w resistor. Putting tube dissapation around 90%
-Original Schumacher power transformer, has replacement output transformer (original Schumacher OT included but internally shorted) WIRED TO 8 OHM(has 4 ohm secondary but not connected) will also include RCA to 1/4" speaker jack. Sounds killer with a 12" speaker.
-3 prong power cable(properly grounded and death cap removed)
-Original speaker was replaced at some point, has radio shack replacement(8ohm).
-Original blade switch missing, at some point someone replaced with a toggle and drilled into the faceplate. Completely functional but visually not original.
-Telefunken 12ax7 in V1
-Ge 12ax7 in V2
-Rca 6v6gt in V3
-Zenith 5Y3 in V4
*all original parts prior to restoration included.
