This is the FSR (Factory Special Run) / Special Run version produced by Fender in 2009, rather than the standard Classic Player ’60s configuration.
includes its original gig-bag, original whammy bar, "Fender Card".
Just had a pro setup and ready to play.
See detailed pics for reference.
The combination of Olympic White, Rosewood and Tortoiseshell is one of the defining characteristics of this particular FSR run and makes it considerably less common than the regular Classic Player ’60s models.
The Fender Custom ’69 pickups provide the open, articulate and dynamic character associated with classic Stratocaster tones, with excellent clarity and touch response.
The Classic Player series is also regarded as one of Fender Mexico’s more interesting production lines from this period, combining vintage-inspired specifications with modern playability.
