This is the signature model of Tony Franklin, a renowned master of the fretless bass.

It features an alder body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard.

The pickups consist of a Fender Tony Franklin American Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup and a DiMarzio Model J DP123. Although they are from different manufacturers, this combination provides a well-balanced volume between the neck and bridge pickups.

In addition to the master volume and tone controls, it features a pickup selector switch. The bass is also equipped with a D-Tuner on the 4th string, offering specifications designed to maximize the versatility required for session work.
