Beautiful 1997 Paul Reed Smith CE 22 in Black, complete with its hardshell case.

This guitar came from my father’s collection and has been stored for many years. It’s a great example of the earlier CE series, when the CE shared much of the construction and hardware of PRS’s set-neck instruments but used the distinctive bolt-on maple neck.

Serial number 7 CE17119 dates this guitar to 1997. PRS records show the CE 22 from this period with a carved maple top, mahogany back, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and Dragon I humbuckers. The Dragon I pickups were used on the CE 22 through 1997 before PRS transitioned to Dragon II pickups in 1998. PRS Guitars Support
