Up for sale is a beautiful, full bodied, great sounding vintage Guild guitar. If you know Guilds, you know what I'm talking about. I can't say enough about it, and quite honestly she will sell herself when played. This guitar has the arch back which adds beef and depth to the acoustic tone. Solid spruce top, the action is set well, great for fingerpicking but also takes a heavy strum without buzzing. The bridge, which can be prone to pulling up on these guitars, has been professionally bolted down by Troubadour Music in Corvallis, Oregon. Active Fishman pickup installed. The reason I'm selling is because my husband and I are guitar collectors, and this amazing instrument had been sitting in a case for the last couple of years. I don't believe in that. Come check it out. Original case included (handle has been replaced). From the web: "This instrument was hand made at the legendary Westerly, Rhode Island factory, highly regarded by collectors for its strict era of quality control."
