Supro Dual-Tone 1624T 24W Tube Combo Amplifier

A particularly clean example of the Supro Dual-Tone 1624T, finished in Supro’s distinctive blue rhino textured covering with matching vintage-style grille cloth.

The amplifier is in mint cosmetic condition and has been exceptionally well preserved. The cabinet, blue covering, grille cloth, control panel, knobs, hardware and carrying handle all remain in excellent condition, as can be seen in the photographs.

The Dual-Tone features a classic two-input / dual-volume design, allowing different gain and tonal settings through its two input sections. The control panel provides Volume 1 and Tone controls for the first input section, Volume 2 and Tone controls for the second, together with the amplifier’s built-in tremolo with Speed and Depth controls.

The amplifier is fitted with a 12" 8-ohm speaker and delivers 24 watts of tube power, combining a relatively simple vintage-inspired circuit with the distinctive character associated with Supro amplifiers.

Important condition information:

The amplifier is being sold as-is. Although it is in mint cosmetic condition, it has been stored for an extended period and will require replacement tubes and a standard maintenance/service by a qualified amplifier technician before regular use.

This has been taken into consideration in the sale and should be taken into consideration by the buyer.
