Here is an original 1973 Rickenbacker Model 4001 in original Mapleglo finish with Checkerboard Binding.
Bass plays fantastic with a good, straight neck and a good low action, no buzz or issues.
Original pickups have that classic vintage Rickenbacker percussive tone a la Chris Squier, the Beatles, and Geddy Lee.
The bridge has been replaced with a Hipshot or similar Rickenbacker replacement so it plays particularly well and intonation is spot on. Tuners are Schallers which keep it very well in tune.
Bass is light and resonant.
Honest signs of play wear and use throughout.
Comes with original hardshell case, too.
