DESCRIPTION

Whether you’re belting out country rhythms or acoustic blues leads, the Gibson Acoustic Southern Jumbo Original will deliver the goods. Derived from the war-era’s most prized flattops, this acoustic-electric guitar yields the perfect blend of punchiness, mid-forward projection, and tasty harmonic overtones. And its flexible dynamics ensure that everything from gentle fingerpicking to heavy strumming sounds amazing. You’ll appreciate the playability of the Southern Jumbo Original’s rosewood-capped mahogany neck, while LR Baggs VTC electronics ensure top-shelf amplified tone. What’s more, this A/E looks amazing, thanks to eye-grabbing double antiqued multi-ply top and back binding and mother-of-pearl parallelogram fingerboard inlays. Players in search of a versatile acoustic-electric guitar with classic style will find much to love in the Southern Jumbo Original.
