A beautiful and highly collectible 2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R9) finished by the Murphy Lab in Heavy Aged treatment.

This is a particularly attractive example with a strong figured maple top, vintage-style sunburst finish, aged hardware and the extensive lacquer checking and simulated play wear characteristic of the Murphy Lab Heavy Aged treatment.

The guitar comes as a complete original package, including the original Gibson Custom Shop hard case, Certificate of Authenticity, pre-pack inspection checklist and the original case accessories/paperwork shown in the photographs.

CONDITION

Excellent / Mint-condition example with factory Murphy Lab Heavy Aging.

Please note that the scratches, checking, finish wear, hardware aging and other signs of use visible on the instrument are part of Gibson’s factory-applied Murphy Lab Heavy Aging process and are intentional.

The guitar has been carefully kept and is in excellent overall condition.

No modifications are apparent from inspection of the guitar and photographs.
