1981 Peavey T-15 – Sunburst – Vintage USA Made With Original AMP Case

Here’s a very nice 1981 Peavey T-15 in the classic Sunburst finish. This is a great example of Peavey’s early American-made guitars, and it looks GREAT for its age.

Everything works as it should. The electronics, controls, and hardware are all functioning properly, and the guitar is ready to play.

The T-15 is a particularly interesting vintage Peavey because of its short 23.5" scale length. Compared with a full-scale guitar, it has a noticeably comfortable, easy-playing feel while still retaining the character of a full-size electric guitar. It’s also considerably lighter than Peavey’s larger T-series models.

Why the T-15?

The T-15 has developed a real following among players who appreciate vintage Peavey instruments. These guitars were American-made, built during Peavey’s early guitar era, and designed with the same kind of practical engineering and durability that made Peavey famous.

Condition

Overall, this guitar is in very good condition for its age. It has obviously been played and does have some cosmetic bumps, bruises, and signs of its nearly 45 years of life.

Known cosmetic issues / bumps & bruises:

• Very Little Buckle Rash but its there
• Some slight dings on back the neck looks like from leaning in a stand? very small (See Pic)
• Some finish scratch from a ring or something while putting on the guitar strap
• Dents by the strap button
