Double Eagle Demo Natural Walnut 1979 MIJ Stratocaster Electric Guitar

This 1979 MIJ Double Eagle Natural Walnut Finish Stratocaster electric guitar was handmade to be a demo guitar paraded around to guitar shows by the world famous Double Eagle high-end guitar parts company to show off their gear. They did a good job. As far as I can tell this is a true one-of-a-kind. Double Eagle made custom parts for Schecter and others. It looks like solid walnut throughout: body, neck, and fingerboard. It has three high output single coil pickups with individual on-off switches, so all three or any combination of the three pickups can be activated. This guitar sounds and plays really well, and it is an exceptionally nice lead guitar. It has great action, decent frets, and a smooth straight neck with good intonation. It needs new strings and a set-up. There is considerable wear on the fingerboard, as shown in the pics, which is the main reason it only has a good rating. Otherwise it has very few dings and scratches. The funny looking knob with the numbers is a built-in tuner; pull out the knob and it silences the guitar and lights up to work as a tuner. No case, but it will be shipped safely in bubble wrap.
