Vintage Ludwig Supraphonic 5x14 – Keystone Badge – Serial #733499 – Circa 1969
Beautiful late-1960s Ludwig Supraphonic 5x14 in very nice vintage condition.
Serial number 733499, Keystone badge, 10 Imperial lugs, original-style internal muffler/tone control, Ludwig strainer and classic chrome-over-aluminum shell. There is an interior date stamp, but unfortunately it is very faded and difficult to read.
Based on the serial number and features, this drum dates to approximately 1969.
The chrome still presents extremely well for its age. There is some normal vintage wear, light pitting/corrosion and a few small marks, scuff as shown in the photos, but overall this is a very clean example of a late Keystone-era Supraphonic. Rust stains bottom hoops I did my best to highlight with the video.
