Excellent Condition with this 1995 MIJ Fender ST-362 Reissue Stratocaster, in Metallic Blue. These MIJ models can be a bit tricky to determine. From our research, this era of MIJ Fender guitars were sort of thrown together with parts that were sort of just "laying around" the Japanese shops. That's a literal description that we read in a few different places, online. That said, we can confirm that this particular guitar is constructed from Solid Alder, not plywood, like some of the MIJ models. Our pics will confirm that fact. The neck is stamped ST-62 at the back of the heel and the body has the ST-362 stamp as well. The electronics appear to be 100% original and all work as they should (and sound great). The hardware (tuners, bridge/saddles/trem block) all appear to be original and are also in fine working order. The pickguard appears to have been changed. The original, we believe, should be Mint Green. The current guard is 3-ply White. A look under the hood indicates that a previous owner may have tried to install another guard that had a different screw hole pattern, evident in the pics. Adjacent to the pickguard on the bass side there is a small blem in the finish. We're not entirely sure how it ended up there, but it's the only real obvious finish damage to speak of. There are a few additional small dings, here and there. However, we have reached the extent of the pics that we can post of this guitar. The neck is also in Excellent Condition with some mild wear within the first 4 frets, nothing that impedes it's playability. The neck measures 0.845 at the first fret and 0.903 at the 12th with a 7.25" fretboard radius.

These MIJ Strats and Teles are favorites among Fender fans, mostly for their necks. But, in our opinion, this guitar as a whole is a winner with playability and tone for days. Grab it and turn it into your next S-type build or play it as it is. Either way, you can't lose. Sale includes the Guitar and a non-original Fender molded black case from the '80s. Weight is 8lbs.
