Selling the AMAZING IGS Audio Tubecore Mastering Edition UPGRADED with a matched pair of JJ6386 tubes, as in the Fairchild...
The tubes Cost £400
Watch the attached video to hear how incredible this piece sounds, I have racks full of gear and this should be at least twice its price, so great value (thats why I bought 2 of them)
The 6386 tubes are smoother and thicker sounding, I will also include the original tubes which are a bit punchier.
The unit can be used with a wide variety of different tubes, making it very flexible in terms of sound.
Included in the sale are:
- 6386 – legendary Fairchild compression, by famous twin triode
- 6BC8 – tight, transparent, punchy compression (like Universal Audio 176)
- 5670 – deep and dark tube compression.
There are a few minor signs of use, rack rash etc.
It was used in a smoke-free studio.
