Samick-era Lotus L505WA Mid-1980s - Walnut

Mid-to-late 1980s Lotus L505 single-cutaway electric guitar. This is a highly reliable, player-grade vintage instrument from the classic Korean import era. This specific model features the iconic "flower logo" below the Lotus script and the modified, altered-style headstock. It was produced by the highly regarded Samick factory in South Korea under contract for Midco International. 1980s Samick builds are famous among vintage gear fans for their rock-solid construction and remarkably comfortable, straight necks.

Condition:
The guitar is in good vintage condition. The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of life left, and the electronics are fully functional. There is some slight fret buzz at the first fret, and the truss rod has little tension on it, so I think it would benefit from some heavier strings, has a new set of 9’s on it right now. Because it is a forty-year-old instrument, it shows normal signs of light wear (minor surface scratches/swirls), and some splotches of purple paint on the back. Stop bar has been replaced.
