This B-Bender started out as an American Nashville 3 color sunburst, then I took it to b3 Guitar factory in about 2013 or 2014, in my hometown of Arroyo Grande California, where I had Art Esparza, former Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, put 4 layers of white and black binding around the front edge. He put new frets in and refinished the fretboard before it went into the paint booth for a new color, which absolutely POPS!!! Chris Pike (painter for all the b3 and other Premier Builders Guild luthiers) did the paint and back of neck treatment to give this guitar a “broken-in” feel.
Art Esparza supplied the Fender logo that he had from his years at Fender Custom Shop.
He hand-built the D’Angelico guitars which were re-introduced in 2011 and worked at that factory till it closed in 2015.
I haven’t played this as much as I expected to, so I’m letting it go to someone who wants a Custom Shop version of this model. It’s essentially a new guitar.
The bridge pickup is by Seymour Duncan: a “Quarter pound” STL-3
Guitar comes with a G&G made in USA TWEED case in very good condition
