The Boss LS-2 Line Selector is a compact utility pedal that lets you switch between two separate signal paths or combine them. It has two loops labeled A and B, each with send and return jacks, plus a main input and output. The mode switch selects between bypass, A/B, or A+B operation, and the level knobs adjust the output of each loop independently. It can also supply 9V DC power to other pedals via its power out jack.

The LS-2 is useful for routing a single instrument to two different amp setups, toggling between clean and effected signal chains, or running parallel effects without a mixer. The silver label version is the original compact design with straightforward controls and reliable switching.
