Vintage SOUND Japan Flute Pair SDN-351 + Keyless Folk Flute 2 Cases
Unusual vintage Japanese SOUND flute pair, including a traditional keyed flute marked Sound Flute SDN-351 / Daiichi Seimitsu and a fascinating keyless transverse flute marked SOUND JAPAN.
These make a really interesting pair for a collector of vintage Japanese instruments, unusual flutes, or experimental/simple-system wind instruments.
Keyed SDN-351: The flute has been play-tested and currently plays most notes, but it does need adjustment/service to play properly throughout the full range. It has not been professionally serviced or inspected. Video demonstration is available upon request so you can hear and see its current playing condition.
Keyless SOUND JAPAN flute: This is an unusual flute-sized keyless transverse instrument with direct finger holes and paired tone-hole openings. It appears similar in concept to vintage Japanese keyless folk flutes/fifes, but is considerably larger and more flute-like.
