Immerse yourself in luxury with this stunning dreadnought, the crown jewel of Martin's renowned Standard Series!
The Martin D45 was first introduced in the 1930s as the pinnacle of acoustic craftsmanship. Over the decades it has left its mark on the music world, from Gene Autry's legendary appearances in the Hollywood Hills to the studios where Neil Young created his most personal songs.
But do not let its captivating looks fool you, because beneath that alluring exterior lies a truly impressive voice. Its body of carefully selected Indian rosewood, combined with a sitka spruce top, melds into a symphony of sound that is both refined and overwhelming. With beautiful highs, a powerful midrange and an impressive bass section, both the fingerstyle player and the bluegrass player will feel right at home on this showpiece. Neil Young himself swears by the tone and reliability of the D45, and the endorsement of such an icon only strengthens this Martin's status.
This 2022 D45 looks clean and is in excellent condition. There is light playwear visible on the body and neck in the form of a few scratches. There is also some playwear on the pickguard and a very small ding on the top. It comes supplied in a luxury case with a TFOA Passport.
This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
