STUNNING 1991 Heritage Golden Eagle in natural finish. This is one of my favorite jazzboxes ever - very light, very resonant, and acoustically loud. The only reason I'm even thinking of getting rid of this is because I was mainly using it as an acoustic, and I've just gotten my hands on a dream Martin. It's currently set up with roundwound .11s, so if you're going to do some jazzing it will need a setup.

If you're not familiar with the history of these - the Golden Eagle is basically the most luxurious offering from Heritage, all of the bells and whistles. On top of that, the first 1000 golden had a special inlay on the back of their headstock (from what I can tell this ran from the early 90s to either the late 90s or early 00s, they were not making a lot of these in a hurry.)

Things to note: Overall, the instrument is in great shape with minimal cosmetic damage and plays great. There are obvious signs of age such as the binding along the neck starting to crack, light surface scratches, and finish swirling. There are some light dings in the spruce top which I've tried to picture.

The only significant issue is that the original claw for the tailpiece broke. If you look at the picture of the original tailpiece in the plastic bag, the part that says "Golden Eagle" on it is 100% intact, the claw that secures to the bottom peg broke at some point before I owned it. The instrument currently has a generic ES-style tailpiece on it, I've been meaning to look in to replacing the claw portion to restore it to original form but haven't gotten around to it.
