Must-have for the serious collector who is also a player!

This isn't a beat-up closet queen or a project piece—it is an absolute time machine. Purchased new in 1975, this 100% all-original Gibson Marauder belonged to my neighbor’s father, who barely played it before safely storing it away for decades.

When we recently unboxed it, we were blown away. After a light cleanup and minor bridge adjustment, this guitar plays like it just rolled off the Kalamazoo factory floor yesterday:

The Action: Butter-smooth, fast, and effortlessly low across the entire fingerboard with zero fret buzz.

The Hardware: The bridge, tailpiece, and tuners show zero pitting or oxidation. The tuning machines turn as smooth as a brand-new shop guitar, allowing micro-fine adjustments.

The Tone: Packed with original Bill Lawrence pickups, offering everything from thick humbucker warmth in the neck to biting, clear single-coil snap in the bridge.

The body displays a few cosmetic scuffs and marks expected from a 50-year-old instrument (I have included close-up pictures of those specific spots so you can see them clearly). None of them affect the structural integrity or the incredible playability of this guitar. It also comes complete with its original factory case!

Bundled with a period-matched vintage Polytone combo amplifier that delivers lush, pristine cleans and warm vintage resonance, this set is completely plug-and-play ready.

Step into a time machine—guitars in this untouched, original condition simply do not come around often.
